Capella University, one of the nations largest and most versatile higher education institutions has added 2 new online doctoral degrees to its arsenal of distance learning programs: The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), and Doctor of Social Work (DSW). To request more information on these programs, click here.

With the creation of the Harold Abel School of Social & Behavioral Sciences, all of Capella’s mental health degree programs have been placed under one roof, including their new DSW program. There is a growing need for Doctor of Social Work Programs, and their acting Dean, Dr. Jody Neuman-Aamlie states that 17 out of the 50 states do not even offer a DSW program. The fact that Capella now has an online DSW program, a rare find in today’s distance education circles, gives students in all 50 states the ability to earn their degree from home and begin or advance their career in social work from wherever they choose to live.

The new DBA online program includes exciting and current specializations such as Business Intelligence, Strategy and Innovation, Global Operations and Supply Chain Management, and much more. There is also an option for students to travel, allowing them to gain information regarding international relations and economic globalization. Students enrolled in the DBA program also have the ability to work with a leadership coach that can help them grow into business leaders and facilitators.

The total number of credits required for graduation of the DSW program is 74, whereas the DBA program requires 82 credits. Financial aid is available for most students and the friendly admissions and financial aid professionals at Capella are ready to help guide students from start to finish. Earning either of these exciting degrees can help further the careers of their graduates, earning higher wages, and giving them an opportunity to lead within their communities or businesses.
