University of the Rockies offers new specializations

In order to keep up with growing trends in the field of Psychology, the University of the Rockies has added several specializations to their online masters and doctoral degree programs. Along with the addition of Organizational Diversity, the University is now offering International Leadership. Both of these specializations are available in the master’s and doctoral programs.

Organizational Diversity focuses on equal opportunities within organizations and corporations. Promoting workplace diversity helps to create a more successful organization in productivity and overall performance. Many career opportunities are available to graduates with this degree including: Chief Diversity Officer, Director of Diversity, Diversity Manager, EEOC Managers, Human Resource Professionals, Director of Multi-Cultural Affairs, and Ombudsman.

This 62-68 credit hour program includes but is not limited to the following courses:

  • Assessment of Personality for Organizational Leadership
  • Strategic Organizational Development
  • Consulting in a Transformational Global Environment
  • Leading Organizational Change
  • Theoretical Foundations for Diversity Work
  • Social Aspects of Diversity

The International Leadership specialization focuses on human behavior and human performance amongst many cultures and countries. Career choices for degree holders that specialize in International Leadership consist of General Manager of Operations in a foreign country, Human Resources positions in multinational corporations, International Business Development Manager, and also there may be careers available in Foreign Government Liaison work.

This 62-68 credit hour program consists of courses including:

  • Group Process & Group Leadership in Organizations
  • Assessment of Personality for Organizational Leadership
  • Advanced Overview of Multinational Business & Organizational Issues
  • Global Business Practices in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and The Americas
  • Globalization & Diversity in Cultures

Both specializations in the Doctor of Psychology program are available in an accelerated 6-week program format, enabling the student to earn their doctorate at a very rapid rate.
