Jones International University recognized as military friendly school
Military Advanced Education (MAE), a publication that focuses on the higher education of active and veteran military personnel, has recognized Jones International University as one of the top “military friendly” higher education institutions in the country for its efforts in distance education.
Jones International University is no stranger to this type of accolade, especially after being recognized in G.I. Jobs 2010 Guide to Military Friendly Schools as one of the schools that has provided a large amount of military support programs and has graciously welcomed military students to enroll in their distance education programs. G.I. Jobs is another publication that provides guidance and support to military service members that are looking to further their education and careers after their service has ended. In this past issue, 7,000 schools were considered for their top 1,000 list, JIU being one of those 1,000.
